CSAP Society is governed by 12 directors representing industry, the environment, and local government. The Board of Directors (“the Board”) consists of the following:
- one director who is both a member of CSAP Society and Engineers and Geoscientists of BC (EGBC);
- one director who is both a member of CSAP Society and the College of Applied Biologists (CAB);
- one director who is both a member of CSAP Society and the BC Institute of Agrologists (BCIA);
- five directors at large who are members of CSAP Society;
- four directors, appointed by the Ministry of Environment and Parks (ENV) Director, consisting of one from each of the following sectors:
- industry groups;
- local governments;
- lay representatives; and
- an employee of ENV, appointed by the Ministry Director.
The CSAP Board is a working board, and as such, each elected director chairs a committee and/or serves on the Executive Committee.
