Examination Information
CSAP examinations are generally held once each year. Please bring printed copies of all reference materials, as electronic materials will not be provided or permitted.
Key Deadlines:
- April 30, 2026 – Deadline to submit your examination application and, for new candidates, to pay the Experience Review fees.
- July 31, 2026 – Deadline to pay the Technical and Regulatory examination fees.
Please wait to receive your official confirmation letter before submitting any examination payments. Do not mail cheques or pay online until you have been notified.
Experience Review
The Experience Review panel evaluates your practical involvement in the environmental field. They look at:
- how long you have worked in the profession,
- the types of projects you have contributed to, and
- any additional relevant experience.
Examination dates:
The 2026 examinations are scheduled as follows:
- Technical examinations – November 2, 2026
- Regulatory examination – November 3, 2026
