Quality Assurance for Approved Professionals (APs)

To ensure APs meet the standards set out in the practice guidelines, a Performance Assessment Committee oversees the review of one in eight submissions. The review process is continually monitored to ensure that the system is fair, equitable, and transparent and to ensure that APs fully understand their obligations and rights under the process.

The Performance Assessment Committee updates the Performance Assessment Guidelines and generates “Lessons Learned” from each assessment. These “Lessons Learned” assist APs with their submissions and are shared in presentations at the AGM + PD Workshop and Fall PD Workshop.
