The documents on this CSAP Society Research and Technical Studies page were prepared for the Contaminated Sites Approved Professional Society (CSAP Society) for use by Approved Professionals in their work. The BC Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy (ENV) has not endorsed these documents and the information in these documents in no way limits the director’s exercise of discretion under the Environmental Management Act.

Ultimately, submissions for Environmental Management Act certification documents need to meet regulatory requirements. The onus is on qualified professionals and Approved Professionals to document the evidence upon which their recommendations depend.
